Helmet Status

The current status of my helmet is that I am not able to bridge it. This has become very complicated and I no longer know what i am doing. The problem with my helmet is that my border edge line is not in the correct place. Border edge lines should be the outside thick line but for some reason mine is on the inside of the helmet. This has posed many problems as there is also a edge line under the border edge line. I am not able to select the lines to bridge it because there are too many and it says they are not border edge lines.
