Motion and Shape tweens are similar in the way you apply them. They both have tween at the end of their names. Both are used in flash. They both change the objects on stage. Both change the color of the timeline and can be edited once added. They can also be used on shapes and letters. They can be turned on the same layer. Both are on the insert tab. Both can be used on created shapes.
The ways they are different are they have different colors on the timeline, Shape tweens morph a shape while Motion tweens move the object. They both have different names. They are located in different places in the menu bar.

How to create a motion tween
1. Create a shape.
2. Highlight the shape and then right-click on it. Click on Create Motion Tween.
3. you have created the tween, drag the shape to the place that you want it to go to.
4. A line should appear with dots on it. This is the path and each dot is a frame.
5. You can manipulate the line and change where you want the shape to go just by dragging the line itself.
6. At the bottom of the screen is the timeline. The tween is the blue part of the multiple blank squares.
7. You can make the tween last longer or shorter by clicking and dragging the edge of the blue part.
That is how you create a motion tween.

Old Animation Compared to New
Old animation and new animation are different but also very similar in some ways. Old animation requires the artist to draw each picture frame by frame or they drew them on chalkboards and just alter the image. And now a days we use the same picture(:

Copyrights
I was absent the day we read brian and sarah.
The things I learned about copyrights yesterday was that authors of original works are protected under Title 17 of the U.S. Code. There are patents, trademarks, and copyrights, and as soon as you write something it is yours and it is copyrighted. Patents are for things you have invented and you must pay to get it patented and mark yourself as the original creator.
